Job Summary
Provide basic supportive care to pediatric patients and selected adult patients under the direction of an RN or Care Manager. Collect, document, and report vital signs; assist with procedures; promote patient safety; maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; perform clerical and administrative tasks; ensure unit environmental standards and supplies are maintained; may act as a preceptor and train other staff; requires active CNA in Ohio and CPR (BLS); minimum one year of hospital-based patient care experience; completion of fundamentals nursing course or equivalent certification/experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the State of Ohio
- CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider)
- Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience
- One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years
