Patient Care Assistant - Endoscopy

Obtain and record patient vitals, safely lift and transport patients, and document pertinent condition reports. Collect, label, and transport blood and laboratory specimens while performing urine and glucometer tests with quality controls. Maintain stocked supplies, check expiration dates, and ensure patient care equipment like pumps and monitors remain functional. Administer non-medicared enemas as per policy and assist physicians and nursing staff within scope of practice. Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families while answering phones and directing calls appropriately. Maintain phlebotomist certification and CPR/Basic Arrhythmia credentials.
