Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care under Registered Nurse supervision, including vital sign measurement, specimen collection, bathing, feeding, and post-mortem care. Document patient activities and data accurately while assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges. Observe patients for changes and report safety issues through the occurrence reporting system. Maintain unit operations by performing supplies inventory, cleaning patient areas, and answering phone inquiries as a unit receptionist. Work full-time, 80 hours every two weeks, on a rotating 5pm to 1am schedule from Sunday through Friday. Maintain BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- BLS for the Healthcare Provider
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Certified Nurses Aide (CNA)
- Previous patient care experience
- Must be able to maintain this schedule throughout the year
- Schedule: 5pm to 1am, Sunday through Friday every week
- Employment Type: Full Time, 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Pay Range: $16.88 - $23.64 per hour
