Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting. Perform vital signs, weights, and heights with accuracy, and help patients turn, reposition, and move between beds and wheelchairs. Complete all required medical record documentation and report patient health concerns to nurses. Listen to patient concerns and interact effectively with patients and families. Requires CNA, PCT, MA, or EMT certification; bi-lingual skills preferred. 36-hour night shift every other weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, EMT or commensurate experience
- Documentation of successful completion of full CNA course work (if state of MA is not offering CNA exams at the time of hire)
- Clinical rotation or simulation lab (for nursing students hired as PCAs)
- Knowledge of medical terminology

- Prior experience in a clinical setting
- Phlebotomy experience
- Nursing students enrolled in BSN programs
- Direct-entry Masters' programs
