Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Maintain a safe environment while supporting the Medical Surgical unit at Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL. This full-time day shift role requires current CNA certification, BLS within 30 days, and preferred phlebotomy or EKG credentials. Competitive compensation ranges from $18.00 to $26.68 with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401K, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred
- Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
