Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Maintain a safe environment while supporting acute care patients in the ICU. Hold current CNA certification, BLS within 30 days, and preferred phlebotomy and EKG credentials. Requires minimum six months acute care experience and a high school diploma. Full-time night shifts from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. with 3-12-hour rotations at Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire
- Current EKG certification upon hire
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
