Patient Care Assistant - CICU

Assist with the collection and documentation of patient/family data and obtain vital signs without continuous physiologic monitors, notifying professionals of abnormal findings. Provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse while identifying patient and family responses to interventions. Contribute input to the RN for developing and modifying the plan of care, and demonstrate commitment to team goals through professional communication and flexibility. Maintain accountability for self-development and participate in the development of others. Candidates must hold an H.S. Diploma or GED plus either a certified nursing assistant program, BSN enrollment with one clinical rotation, or one year of direct patient care experience. Respiratory fit testing is required for all successful candidates.
