Patient Care Assistant Cardiac ICU Step Down

Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding while monitoring and recording vital signs. Accurately measure, record, and report intake and output, and obtain daily weights. Perform blood glucose testing using a blood glucose meter and prepare patient rooms. Provide direct patient care as delegated by RN staff, maintaining vigilance for changes in patient conditions. Requires High School Diploma, GED, or SRNA certification, plus Basic Life Support upon hire. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, this role supports the hospital's mission to provide compassionate care to the underserved within the CommonSpirit Health system.
