Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care, and maintain a safe environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge. Perform duties as a temporary position with a maximum duration of 12 weeks on night shifts. Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and possess state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. This role supports the Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, which has educated nurses since 1898 and serves the Philadelphia communities.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire
- Current EKG certification upon hire
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
