Patient Care Aide - PCA

Job Summary
Provide in-home patient care to elderly clients in the Kansas City metro area, including personal care and hygiene, light housekeeping, meal planning, mobility support, medication reminders, and shopping assistance. Support clients to meet exercise goals, accompany them to medical visits, and promptly report health changes. Requires reliable transportation, strong communication, time-management, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen; First Aid/emergency response training is required. Salary schedule includes full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts with varied shift lengths.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
