Job Summary
Provide in-home care for senior clients as a Patient Care Aide (PCA) with Visiting Angels of Southlake. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care and hygiene, light housekeeping, mobility and ambulation support, prompting for medications, shopping and meal planning with clients, and ensuring safety during emergencies. Requires reliable transportation, strong communication skills, ability to follow health and safety standards, and successful completion of a background check and drug screen. Training in First Aid and dementia care offered; 12-hour shift options available (Full Time or Part Time).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
