Job Summary
Manage light housekeeping, assist clients with mobility and ambulation, and help them meet exercise and fitness goals. Prompt clients to take prescription medications at the right times, plan meals in collaboration with them, and assist with shopping or grocery tasks. Report any health changes or unusual circumstances immediately, as you must be prepared to act quickly in medical emergencies. Maintain First Aid and emergency response training while complying with state and office-specific health and safety standards. This role offers flexibility through full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts for caregivers supporting senior adults across the local area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
- Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
