Job Summary
Conduct personal care and hygiene assistance for elderly clients, manage light housekeeping, and prepare meals in collaboration with clients. Prompt clients to take prescription medications, assist with mobility and ambulation, and encourage exercise goals. Report health changes or unusual circumstances immediately in case of medical emergencies. This role requires a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and First Aid training. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen while complying with state and office-specific health and safety standards. Visiting Angels of Boise offers weekly pay, a $500 sign-on bonus, health and dental insurance, and a premium gym membership. Flexible schedules include full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts across Boise, Caldwell, Nampa, and Meridian.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
- Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
