Patient Care Aide - PCA

Job Summary
Provide compassionate at-home personal care for senior clients, including assistance with hygiene, light housekeeping, mobility support, meal planning and preparation, and reminders for medications. Help clients meet exercise goals, assist with shopping and errands, and accompany them to appointments as needed. Maintain client safety and promptly report health changes or unusual circumstances. Demonstrate strong communication, reliability, and professionalism; adhere to health and safety standards and participate in ongoing training. Flexible shifts available (full-time or part-time) to support home-care needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
- A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship
- Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
