Job Summary
Conduct personal care and hygiene assistance, manage light housekeeping, and encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals. Prompt clients to take prescription medications at the right times, assist with shopping and grocery tasks, and plan meals in collaboration with clients. Provide mobility and ambulation support ranging from navigating the home to visiting doctors and taking walks. Report any health changes or unusual circumstances immediately, acting quickly in medical emergencies. Maintain First Aid and emergency response training while complying with state and office-specific health and safety standards. Full-time and PRN shifts available across Anniston, Talladega, and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
- Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
