Job Summary
Provide personal care and support to clients with various needs, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives in their homes. Maintain client confidentiality and private documents while communicating effectively with patients, families, and co-workers. Organize work and schedule effectively, demonstrating a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, elderly, and disabled. Perform moderate to heavy lifting and extensive bending, lifting, and standing as required. This role requires one year of experience, current CPR certification (preferred), and a Certified Nurse Aid or Home Health Aid certification (preferred). Candidates must hold a current driver's license with vehicle insurance, be at least 18 years of age, and pass a TB skin test, drug screen, and criminal history check.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current Driver License, and vehicle insurance
- Must be able to pass a TB Skin Test & Drug screen
- Must be able to pass a criminal history check
- Have the ability to read and write
- Have the ability to understand and carry out instructions
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, with their families and with co-workers
- Have the ability to organize work and schedule effectively
- Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, the elderly and the disabled
- Moderate to heavy lifting on occasions
- Ability to participate in physical activity
- Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on an as required basis
- Ability to work for an extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity as required
- Maintain clients confidential and private document (written and verbal)
Desired Qualifications
