Patient Care Aide - Acute Medical Care Unit III - FT - 1st Shift

Provide direct patient care and maintain care standards under RN/LPN direction, managing psychosocial, cultural, and physical needs across diverse backgrounds. Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes while explaining care procedures to patients and families. Respond to emergencies or physically distressful situations and ensure documentation meets current standards and policies. Assume accountability for appropriate resource utilization and adapt to rapidly changing environments. Requires BLS certification before orientation completion.
