Patient Care Aide- 1F Med/Surg, PRN, Days

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility. Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake, and output accurately. Monitor patient condition, behavior, and needs; report changes to the RN or charge nurse. Perform blood glucose monitoring, specimen collection, and transport patients using safe lifting techniques. Ensure patient safety through hourly rounding, fall prevention, and equipment monitoring. Respond promptly to call lights, restock supplies, and maintain clean patient care areas. Document activities in the electronic health record and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Maintain current BLS certification and demonstrate flexibility to assist on other units as needed.
