Patient Care Advocate - Hospice Business Development

Job Summary

Drive measurable referral growth by developing strategic relationships with physicians, hospitals, and key referral partners to expand access to coordinated home care. Execute targeted outreach through effective sales calls, presentations, and quarterly territory plans to cultivate partnerships and promote hospice programs. Serve as the agency liaison with discharge planners, facility nurses, and community agencies to facilitate service delivery and manage patient expectations. Maintain customer profiles, log daily activity, and prepare monthly reports on marketplace changes while utilizing CRM solutions and Microsoft tools. Participate in marketing efforts including physician calls and health fairs to educate the healthcare community, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in hospice sales or a related industry with a proven record of achieving incremental growth in direct sales
  • Experience delivering high-quality outcomes and growth
  • Establishing and maintaining professional and effective relationships with internal and external teams
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft programs for internal and external communications, presentations, database tracking/reporting, and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Self-directed and possesses the ability to work with little supervision
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid auto liability insurance
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to travel locally
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to work in various conditions
  • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases
