Job Summary
Obtains insurance information, counsels patients on financial assistance, registers new patients, reviews schedules, retrieves charts, assists with patient/office workflow, and communicates with patients regarding billing and insurance questions. Calls patients with appointment reminders, explains billing processes to patients and third-party payers, assists with basic account maintenance, and supports scheduling and administrative duties in a normal office and patient care environment. Requires BLS within one month of hire and a high school diploma or equivalent; Epic EHR experience and related billing/insurance knowledge are beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within one month of hire date
