Job Summary
Greet patients and schedule appointments efficiently, coordinating based on provider availability and patient preferences. Handle inbound calls regarding appointments and inquiries with professionalism, while verifying insurance coverage and processing referrals as ordered. Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve scheduling conflicts and address patient concerns or complaints promptly. Escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel and follow policies to maintain operations. Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
