Job Summary
Patient and Customer Care Representative (PCCR) at GoodVets supports both client and patient care teams, floating between direct animal care and client services to ensure seamless client experiences while assisting the clinical team. Responsibilities include greeting clients, check-in/check-out, scheduling, triaging multi-line calls, feeding/walking/bathing/observing hospitalized or boarding patients, safely restraining pets for exams and procedures, collecting/labeling diagnostic samples, assisting with surgery prep and imaging, preparing and sterilizing instruments, assisting with medication dispensing and patient documentation, and maintaining a clean, organized reception and treatment environment while following infection-control protocols. Must be available to work evenings and weekends and have veterinary-support experience in a fast-paced setting with strong teamwork and customer-service mindset.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years' experience in a veterinary support role
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient care in emergency situations/under high pressure
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Exposure to Veterinary Practice Management Systems in previous roles
