Job Summary
Coordinate patient bed assignments and admissions across Mohawk Valley Health System, monitor real-time bed availability, arrange transfers from outside facilities, support discharge transportation in collaboration with Case Management, and document referrals and dispositions in the hospital system while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Must have strong multi-tasking in a fast-paced healthcare setting and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (Epic preferred).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare or related environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
