Job Summary
Provide personalized product guidance and resolve customer inquiries while ensuring all requests are escalated to management. Accurately process orders using POS and inventory systems in compliance with state regulations and company policies. Meet daily sales targets by applying the customer experience selling cycle and maintaining a stocked, clean, and tidy dispensary environment. Assist management with regulatory compliance, foster an inclusive culture, and perform other duties as assigned by the Store Lead. This role requires accommodating varied shifts, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands including lifting up to 30 lbs and operating standard office equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency
- Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agency
- Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency
- Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends and holidays
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- High school diploma/GED
- Must be able to exchange accurate information about product offerings
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position when checking in customers or when operating the register
- Must be able to twist, turn, bend, stand and walk as required to perform the duties associated with functioning as a dispensary agent
- Must be able to transport dispensary products/totes up to 30 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years' experience working in a cannabis retail setting
- Prior customer service experience in a hospitality, pharmacy, customer services or retail environment
