Job Summary
Provide personalized guidance on premium cannabis products and resolve customer inquiries while communicating unresolved concerns to management. Accurately receive, coordinate, and fulfill orders using POS and inventory systems in compliance with state policies. Meet daily sales targets by following the customer experience selling cycle and maintaining tailored product suggestions. Keep the dispensary stocked, clean, and tidy, ensuring all areas are guest-ready and operating in order. Assist management in enforcing regulatory procedures and fostering a respectful, inclusive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Store Lead.
Required Qualifications
- Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.
- Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agency.
- Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency.
- Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- High school diploma/GED required
- Must be able to exchange accurate information about product offerings.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position when checking in customers or when operating the register.
- Must be able to twist, turn, bend, stand and walk as required to perform the duties associated to functioning as a dispensary agent.
- Must be able to constantly move and transport dispensary products/totes up to 30 lbs. throughout the dispensary.
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years' experience working in a cannabis retail setting preferred
- Prior customer service experience in a hospitality, pharmacy, customer services or retail environment.
