Patient Admissions Coordinator

Job Summary
Admission-focused coordinator role responsible for collecting, documenting and communicating patient admission information per department policies, collaborating with Administrative Nursing Admission Coordinators and multiple departments including physicians and nursing staff. Supports patient-focused, whole-person care culture; may take on additional duties as directed. Requires an Associate’s Degree in a healthcare-related program (or equivalent experience) and multiple years of healthcare-adjacent experience, including front-office or ED exposure. Night, part-time schedule in a hospital setting at Swedish Medical Center under Providence Shared Services.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Healthcare related program
- Two years of equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting may be accepted in lieu of the degree requirement or equivalent education/experience
- 2 years job related experience (including, but not limited to ED, critical care, call center, front office) in a healthcare setting
- 4 years applicants without an Associate’s degree must have four (4) years of job related experience
