Job Summary
Patient Admissions Coordinator handles on-site registration for scheduled and unscheduled visits, collects demographic and insurance information, and processes patient liability at the time of service. Performs financial clearance on assigned accounts, greets patients professionally, and ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines. Requires experience with Epic Applications, medical terminology, and medical billing codes; supports revenue-cycle activities within Providence's Revenue Cycle Business Services.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Healthcare or Business Administration
- 3 years Experience within Patient Access of Business office setting
- Experience with insurance eligibility systems
- 3 years Utilization of medical terminology in job setting
- Knowledge in medical billing codes
- 1 year Knowledge of Epic Applications
