Job Summary
Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for both scheduled and unscheduled visits, collecting accurate demographic and insurance information while processing patient liability. Complete financial clearance functions for assigned scheduled accounts and manage registration tasks within the Business office setting. Requires experience with insurance eligibility systems, medical terminology, medical billing codes, and Epic Applications. Full-time day shift with onsite location at Revenue Cycle Business Services.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration
- 3 years Experience within Patient Access of Business office setting
- Experience with insurance eligibility systems
- 3 years Utilization of medical terminology in job setting
- Knowledge in medical billing codes
- 1 year Knowledge of Epic Applications
