Job Summary
Greet patients and direct them to appropriate departments; manage telephone inquiries and communicate with doctors/nurses for callbacks. Oversee appointment management (no-shows, rescheduling, confirmations); register new patients and maintain current records. Explain medical insurance coverage, collect payments based on eligibility, and provide/assist with claim forms. Handle daily cash collection and deposits, ensure timely processing per finance protocols, and maintain knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic timings, duty roster, and booking procedures. Perform back-office duties, manage emails, ensure adherence to hospital policies, and contribute to continuous quality improvement. Maintain a safe, confidential environment with patient and staff privacy, and generate/process patient invoices and statements, including co-pays and deductibles, in compliance with billing laws and insurance requirements.
