Patient Accounts Representative

Patient Accounts Representative responsible for reviewing and auditing billing charges and all accounts receivable activities for physician clinics. Duties include entering charge demographics, troubleshooting billing issues, responding to patient billing calls, payment posting, resolving credits, identifying and correcting claim errors to maximize payments, handling denials and appeals, evaluating ICD/CPT/HCPCS codes, and ensuring compliance with coding rules such as NCCI edits, bundling, and incidentals. Preferred certifications in Billing or Coding.
