Patient Accounts Representative

Conduct timely and accurate billing and collections of hospital claims for patients and third-party payers. Review claims for accurate submission, analyze payments and adjustments, and perform audits to ensure accuracy. Verify insurance benefits for commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers, identify and correct billing errors, and resubmit claims. Respond to patient questions with respect, manage outstanding claims escalations, and initiate appeals based on EOB reviews. Maintain compliance with third-party payer and government billing requirements while representing the department professionally.
