Patient Accounts Representative - Hybrid

Patient Accounts Specialist responsible for supporting the revenue cycle through verified insurance coverage, account review, and timely follow-up on patient accounts. Responsibilities include obtaining and verifying medical coverage, communicating insurance status to patients and departments, reviewing deductibles and copays, monitoring delinquent accounts, applying payments and adjustments, maintaining notes in the EMR, handling inquiries, and upholding HIPAA compliance. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with electronic medical records; office-based duties with a hybrid work arrangement (onsite training plus remote and some onsite work) within 30 miles of South Bend, IN.
