Patient Accounts Rep - PFS Physician

Manage daily billing functions under the direction of the Patient Accounts Manager, including working claim edits, reviewing insurance claims for accuracy, contacting parties regarding unpaid claims, identifying non-payment issues, and handling first-level appeals in compliance with departmental policies. Maintain knowledge retention through scheduled competency assessments. Resolve claim edits timely to ensure accurate submission and follow up on unpaid claims to maximize reimbursement while adhering to compliant standards. Work independently and collaboratively within the team environment using Microsoft Office tools. Apply high school diploma and relevant billing experience to support Kettering Health's mission of promoting and restoring health across its 14 medical centers and 120+ outpatient facilities.
