Job Summary
The Patient Accounts Billing Representative is responsible for submitting claims accurately and on time, analyzing outstanding accounts receivables, preparing appeals, and ensuring compliance with payer guidelines. Key tasks include reviewing patient eligibility, posting charges and payments in the practice management system, reconciling batch totals, and resolving open accounts receivable. Candidates should have 1-2 years of medical billing experience or a medical billing certification, with knowledge of CPT, ICD10 coding preferred.
