Job Summary
Independently monitors and controls accounts receivables of third-party payers; reviews daily registration/referral processes within own payer area; runs AR reports and reconciles accounts; communicates payer-specific requirements related to submission and remittance of professional claims; maintains knowledge of payer regulations and procedures in submissions and remittances; requires medical billing experience and familiarity with payer claims, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and mainframe; salary range $19.40-$22.50 per hour; remote/hybrid available once fully trained; must reside in New York or Pennsylvania. Education includes High School Diploma or GED with Associate's Degree preferred; ICD-9/10 CPT coding experience strongly preferred; 2-3 years of medical billing experience preferred.
