Job Summary
Review all patient charts for accuracy of patient and billing information, then distribute all billing to appropriate personnel. Perform follow-up on authorizations, specialty referrals, and dictated notes while communicating clearly by telephone. Maintain current knowledge of contracts and state Worker's Compensation fee schedules, operating a computer to input and retrieve data. Requires high school diploma, knowledge of multiple insurance billing requirements, and customer service experience. Full-time day shift position at Sherman Oaks Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
- Knowledge of multiple insurance billing requirements
- Customer Services experience
