Patient Account Representative

Promptly file hospital inpatient and outpatient claims with payers, following up in a timely and efficient manner to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided; assist the public in understanding billing procedures, while maintaining good public relations. HYBRID position (requires a few shifts of weekly onsite work). Full-time role in Bellevue, WA. Responsibilities include hospital/physician billing, insurance follow-up, and effective communication with payers and patients. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (graduation from a recognized medical billing program desirable) and two years of hospital business office experience; knowledge of medical billing terminology and insurance payers preferred.
