Job Summary
This role involves providing patient account support within the Dental department while ensuring excellent customer service and professionalism. Responsibilities include managing appointments, handling insurance verification, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain Oneida Certification on reporting Child Abuse and Neglect within ninety (90) days of employment
- Must complete Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) training within thirty (30) days of employment
- Must be CPR and Red Cross First Aide Certified or the ability to obtain within three (3) months of employment
- Must maintain CPR and Red Cross First Aide Certification during employment
- Essential: Clerical Experience
- Working in a medical, dental or call center facility
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental insurance procedures, documentation, and electronic dental record
Additional Requirements
- Applicants age 50 and older are exempt from the education requirement
- Must pass a background check to meet Employment Eligibility Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Employees are required to have proof of seasonal influenza vaccination; medical or religious exemption may be requested upon hire
