Patient Account Representative

Submit patient bills through billing software for physician accounts and follow up with insurance carriers for prompt reimbursement. Maintain a positive attitude while remaining articulate, persuasive, and sensitive to patients' needs during collections. Work independently with a high tolerance for task interruptions, multi-task effectively, and refocus quickly to ensure task completion. Demonstrate emotional maturity and attention to detail while functioning effectively in stressful situations. Two years of experience in medical office or hospital billing/collections is preferred.
