Job Summary
Hybrid Patient Account Representative role supporting Medicaid redetermination activities, including outbound/inbound calls, eligibility guidance, documentation assistance, and accurate account updates in compliance with state and client guidelines. Requires in-office presence Tue/Wed in Lewisville, TX with remote work on other days; eight-hour shift between 8:00 AM CT – 5:30 PM CT. Responsibilities include account review, customer service, updating patient demographics, and communicating issues to management. Requires High School Diploma/GED (or 3 years of related experience) and 0-2+ years in healthcare/insurance/customer service; bilingual ability and proficiency with Word/Excel are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED OR 3 years of relevant equivalent experience
- 0-2+ years working within healthcare, insurance, business, finance or customer service
- Working knowledge of insurance claims, billing, coding, follow-up, finance, accounting or customer service-related responsibilities
- Bilingual (preferred: English and Spanish)
- PC skills in Windows environment with Word and Excel
