Patient Account Representative I

Patient Account Representative I at Midtown Campus is responsible for accurate charging, billing, follow-up, refunds, contract variance follow-up, and posting of insurance and self-pay accounts across Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Center Billing. He/she will resolve patient inquiries related to billing and insurance filing processes and work with patients and third party payors to obtain payment on delinquent accounts in alignment with proper collection techniques, contributing to the department's accounts receivable goals. Requires completion of High School or GED and 2–4 years’ experience in medical billing-related environments. Strong ability to communicate with patients and payors, attention to detail in posting, and teamwork within Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle teams are essential.
