Job Summary
Submit patient bills through billing software for physician accounts and follow up with insurance carriers for prompt reimbursement. Maintain a positive, pleasant attitude while remaining articulate and persuasive when communicating with patients and carriers. Work independently with a high tolerance for task interruptions, multi-task effectively, and refocus quickly to ensure task completion. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and emotional maturity when functioning under stress. Requires two years of experience in medical office, hospital, or general billing/collections.
