Job Summary
Manage work queues, aging lists, and claims correspondence to ensure accurate and timely payment. Verify billing data accuracy, resolve denied claims through appeals, and initiate collections or escalation procedures for overdue accounts. Audit patient accounts for non-covered or out-of-network procedures, adjust records per guidelines, and maintain supporting documentation. Answer patient inquiries via telephone, relay account information, and ensure confidentiality of all health and proprietary data. Adhere to a schedule requiring regular and prompt attendance while upholding the company's mission and values in daily interactions.
