PATIENT ACCOUNT REP (FT/Days) Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic

Patient Account Representative in an Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic responsible for all initial billing, expediting payment of patient charges through collection of pre-pays, and follow-up and management of accounts to ensure maximum collection in accordance with the Business Office policies and procedures. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of related experience, and intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and other database systems. Responsibilities include billing and collections activities with attention to accounts receivable and adherence to clinic policies; preferred experience in medical billing and collections.
