Job Summary
Interview patients or their representatives to obtain demographics, secure insurance information, eligibility, benefits, and authorizations. Collaborate with Admitting department facets including the PBX operator and reception areas while operating a computer to input and retrieve data. Communicate effectively with diverse populations ranging from neonatal to geriatric patients and maintain proficiency in medical terminology. Complete special projects or other assignments within specified timeframes. Full-time night shift (630p-7a) at Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical in Aurora, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Customer Services experience
- High School Graduate or GED Equivalent

- Previous hospital experience as an admissions representative
