Job Summary
Interview patients or their representatives to obtain demographics, secure insurance information, eligibility, benefits, and authorizations. Collaborate with PBX operators and reception areas while operating computers to input and retrieve data. Utilize age-specific communication techniques across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations while maintaining proficiency in medical terminology. Complete special projects or other assignments within specified timeframes.
Required Qualifications
- Customer Services experience
- High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
