Job Summary
Remote Patient Account Manager responsible for overseeing patient account staff, managing accounts receivable processes, and collaborating with payors to optimize reimbursements. Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, analyzes A/R aging, drives cash-flow improvements, and supports training and development for the A/R team across client facilities. Requires advanced knowledge of healthcare A/R, Medicare regulations and HIPAA, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to implement process improvements. Preferred qualifications include MBA/CPA and HFMA certification.
Required Qualifications
- 4 year college degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related area or equivalent experience
- 5 – 10 years experience in Healthcare Administration or Business Office
- 2 – 3 years supervisory experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- HFMA-Patient Accounts or Hospital Accounting Certification encouraged
- MBA/CPA preferred
