Patient Access & Traffic Control Attendant

Job Summary
Monitor and manage vehicle traffic in the hospital drop-off and pick-up area; ensure vehicles do not remain parked or stopped in the loading zone for extended periods; assist patients and visitors with general questions regarding hospital locations, departments, and directions; provide wheelchairs to patients arriving at the entrance when needed; contact and coordinate with the transport team for patient assistance and escorts; maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming entrance area; communicate professionally with patients, visitors, staff, valet, and security teams; assist with crowd control and maintain clear access for emergency and hospital vehicles; report any concerns, incidents, or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Years of Experience: Entry Level
- Language Skills: Proficient in English both verbally and written
- Must be 18 or older to apply
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to effectively communicate, read, and write in English
- Ability to sit for extended periods and the ability to walk short distances
- Ability to operate a computer and cash register
- Ability to count money and make change if necessary
- Be able and willing to smile during every customer interaction
- Maintain uniform standards
- Maintain a professional and polite manner
