Job Summary
Manages day-to-day operations of patient admitting, registration and payments in a hospital setting; maintains standardized admission processes to ensure accurate data collection and a positive patient experience; coordinates between clinical and administrative teams; monitors operational metrics to improve efficiency and problem-solve; ensures patient confidentiality and HIPAA-compliant data security; oversees staff scheduling, trainings and meetings, coaching on performance issues; develops and maintains relationships with internal and external personnel; ensures processes align with best practices and regulatory requirements; strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, plus proficiency with electronic health records and standard office software.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- General office knowledge
- clerical and computer skills
- public relations knowledge
- insurance billing and/or physician clinic experience preferred
Additional Requirements
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Background check and/or fingerprint check required
- Successful completion of 500-hour probationary period
