Job Summary
Locate and enter accurate prescription insurance information and adjudicate pharmacy claims; communicate the need for medication prior authorization to providers; manage inbound calls from patients, providers, and clinics regarding order status and financial options; serve as a technical resource for adjudication and identify areas for improvement; document progress notes on patient profiles; coordinate medication delivery and payment to ensure timely distribution; coordinate patient refill processes and follow-up to support adherence; identify and report adverse events/Product complaints to clinicians to ensure patient safety; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of HIPAA, patient privacy, and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in quickly and thoroughly understanding patient and provider needs
